Forbes - I've had Facebook for almost 10 years, and as a result have amassed quite a few "friends." At one point in time, these "friends" may have actually been real, close friends that I spent time in real life with. However, as we grew up, we've grown apart - and now many of my college friends and I barely talk, let alone have anything in common with. I've also accepted friend requests from strangers who have followed my blog posts over the years, which means that now my News Feed is filled with not only baby pictures from people I barely consider an acquaintance, but from complete random strangers, too.
