Forbes - If the only measures of a corporation are things like profit and share price, Facebook has had a truly remarkable year. Its stock has nearly doubled and revenues in the first three quarters alone have already eclipsed last year's total. With Facebook confirming it will launch a test of video ads in the News Feed that reportedly could sell for $2 million a day, those record profits might seem small a year from now. But at what cost? With concerns that teens are already losing interest in Facebook, this comment -- on Google+ of all places -- summed it up perfectly:"I can't wait for the auto start video ads!" said no one ever. Facebook's new commercials, and that's what they are, will run automatically once you scroll to them on your smartphone, tablet or computer.
